About The Lens

I’m Jasper, the photographer behind The Lens.

Based in Surrey and regularly working across South London, I created The Lens to offer professional photography with a friendly, straightforward approach. Whether photographing a much-loved pet or preparing a property for the market, my aim is the same: to produce natural, high-quality images that show the subject at its best.

My background in estate agency gives me a genuine understanding of property marketing and the difference strong photography can make. In my own experience managing multiple branches, professionally photographed listings would often attract around twice as many online clicks—and sometimes considerably more—than those photographed casually. That experience shapes how I approach every property, focusing on the space, light and details that encourage people to stop scrolling and take a closer look.

Away from property, working with pets - including photographing dogs at rescue centres - has quickly become one of my favourite parts of the job. I love capturing their individual expressions, movement and personality without forcing stiff or unnatural poses.

I want every shoot to feel relaxed and easy from beginning to end. I’ll take the time to understand what you need, keep the process simple and deliver photographs you’ll be genuinely pleased to use and share.
